This fella took a bath and didn’t dry off.  A water line in a basement developed a leak and sprayed it down.  The only thing rust fee is the wood, plastic trigger guard, Bushnell scope and B-Square saddle mount.  The saddle mount surprisingly looks almost new.  Nice job B-Square.

From the outside the bolt and chamber are look very good.  The white stuff on the wood is from the varnish being waterlogged.  The slug barrel is 20 inches long and has some rust in it.  It should come out with a brush and mop or a few rounds through it.  The stock wiggles a little like a fat guy at a buffet and should be able to be tightened.

If you want to test your patience (while learning why good refinishers/restores charge what they do) with refinishing a easy to take apart shotgun, you can give this one a go and find out if you are a Picasso or Pisscato.
